CHOSEN CHARITY

Brighton College presented us with £2,500.

We have been chosen by Waitrose, Brighton’s Community Matters for the month of March. Please save up your tokens and pass them onto Anne, so she can “feed” them into Brighton’s charity boxes. Many thanks.

DONATIONS

The Argus appeal sent us £750. Southern Water donated £200. Southbourne Lodge, Eastbourne has donated £500 matched by Sussex Masonic Charities with a further £500. £1,000 from Sports Relief through Sussex Community Foundation.

SPENCER BEAR

Thanks to Marks & Spencer and Spencer Roberts' family, we have been able to purchase another 200 Spencer bears to go onto the A & E ambulances in Sussex. This brings our total to around 1,000 bears now donated.

NEARLY NEW SALE

TINA Bass is organising  a children’s sale at St Lukes, Parish Church Hall, Stone Cross, Pevensey 10am - 12 on Sat 24 April. They need cakes. Tina can be reached on 07727809660 or 01323 743858. She is usually at swimming on Sundays.

CHARLIE’S WALK

CHARLIE Allen and his family are planning a 10 mile circular walk alongside Seaford Ramblers and also a shorter family walk on Sunday 13 June. Last year Charlie raised £726 and hopes to beat that target. It is open to all, if you would like to join in. The Allen family are on (01323)891897.
PS Congratulations to Charlie on being recognised as Seaford's Young Personality in helping others.

SUMMER OUTINGS

OUR summer outings this year are planned for The Enchanted Forest, Wilderness Wood and Clambers. We have invited The Crew Club, WASP and Eastbourne families to come and join us.

We have just purchased tickets for a family day out to Drusillas. Dad is recovering from a serious operation and they are coping with a severely autistic son.

CHRISTMAS

YES already. We have booked our 300 seats for Cinderella at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne and a further 300 to see Aladdin in Worthing.

 FOOD HAMPERS

WE delivered 61 food hampers last year and hope to be able to do it again this year. Thank you all for the support you gave us and thanks to Southern Water who packed and delivered.

HELP

DID you know that 61% of the population never volunteer. We need help with fund raising, planning events, IT and publicity. Can you help?

AND FINALLY AS ALWAYS —ONE BIG

THANK YOU
